Kosakai Chemical Industry Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “the Company”) establishes the following privacy policy (hereinafter referred to as "the Policy") regarding the handling of users' personal information in the services provided on this website by the Company (hereinafter referred to as "the Service"). The Company will appropriately handle personal information based on the Policy.   • To respond and to keep records of opinions, inquiries, consultations, and comments from the user.and retaining records of such responses
  • To request the user to provide satisfaction surveys related to the above responses;

Article 4(Change of the Purpose of Utilization)

The Company shall change the purpose of utilization of the Personal Information only if it is reasonably recognized as being relevant to the purpose of utilization before the change. In the event of the change of the purpose of utilization, the Company shall notify the user of the new purpose of utilization by the method specified by the Company, and/or post on this website.

Article 5(Provision the Personal Information to A Third Party)

The Company shall not provide the Personal Information to third parties without obtaining the prior consent of the user. Notwithstanding the foregoing, the Company shall provide the Personal Information to third parties in cases recognized by the Personal Information Protection Act and other laws, such as for the protection of a person's life, body, or property.

Article 6(Security Control Measures for Personal Information)

Article 7(Disclosure of Personal Information)

In the event that the Company requested by the user to disclose the Personal Information himself/herself retained by the Company, the Company shall disclose the retained Personal Information without any delay. However, in falling under any of the following items, the Company may keep all or part of the retained personal data undisclosed:

  • Cases in which disclosure is likely to harm the life, body, property, or other rights or interests of the person or a third party
  • Cases in which disclosure is likely to seriously impede the proper execution of the business of the Company
  • Cases in which disclosure violates other laws and regulations

Article 8(Correction and Deletion of Personal Information)

The user may request the correction, addition, or deletion (hereinafter referred to as "the Corrections") of its Personal Information held by the Company if the Personal Information is inaccurate, in accordance with the procedures specified by the Company. If the Company determines that it is necessary to respond to such a request from the user, the Company shall promptly make the corrections to the Personal Information requested by the user. In the event that the Company makes corrections based on the provisions set forth in above, or decides not to make corrections as requested, the Company shall promptly notify the user about its decision.

Article 9(Suspension of Use of Personal Information)

The Company shall conduct the necessary investigation without delay if the user requests the suspension or deletion of their Personal Information (hereinafter referred to as “the Suspension”) on the grounds that their Personal Information is being handled beyond the scope of the intended purposes set forth in Article 3 or has been obtained through unlawful means.
Based on the results of the investigation set forth in above, if it is determined that it is necessary to respond to the request of the Suspension, the Company shall promptly implement the Suspension of the Personal Information.
In the event that the Company conducts the Suspension based on this Article 9, or decides not to accept the Suspension, the Company shall promptly notify the user of its outcome.
Notwithstanding the preceding two paragraphs, if the Suspension would require significant costs or is otherwise difficult to implement, and if alternative measures necessary to protect the rights and interests of the user can be taken, the Company will implement such alternative measures.

Article 10 (Anonymously Processed Information)

The Company shall not use or process the Personal Information obtained from the user into the anonymously processed information.

Article 11(Change of the Policy)

The Company may change the Policy from time to time without notifying the users, except for matters specifically stipulated in laws and other provisions of the Policy. Unless otherwise specified by the Company, the revised Policy will be effective from the time it is posted on this website.
